Fans of Belgian dark electronic project Llumen can now pre-order the CD of “Winter Eden,” the project’s fourth album, due from Alfa Matrix on 30 October 2026. The digipak is listed in the label’s store, the same twelve songs are offered digitally, and a three-CD bundle adds new albums by Implant and C-Lekktor.
Reserve the digipak in the Alfa Matrix store; the album can also be found on Bandcamp. When the album was first revealed in August, only the track list and “The Leftovers” as lead single were known, with no CD or bundle on sale yet. That single can be heard on Spotify as a two-track release.
One bundle, three albums
Three CDs ship together in the bundle: “Winter Eden,” “The Kinematics Of Doubt” by Implant and “Antimateria + C:file” by C-Lekktor, each due on 30 October 2026. Llumen and Implant also share a launch party at mOtown, in Sint-Joost-ten-Node (Belgium), on 20 November 2026 — the same set-up they used for a show in Antwerp in October 2021.
About Llumen
Pieter Coussement has run Llumen from Ghent on his own since 2009, after it started out as a trio. The music pairs old-school EBM with gothic atmosphere, techno and future pop, and he names Covenant, Assemblage 23, Suicide Commando, Diorama, Haujobb and Front 242 among his reference points. The very name nods to Front 242’s “U-Men,” which he later covered for the 2016 tribute “Recovery >For You<”.
Earlier full-lengths are “The Memory Institute” (with a bonus-track edition from January 2017), “Polygon Heart” (2021), which Coussement calls his most autobiographical work, and the limited 2CD “The Breaking Waves” (2024); the nine-track EP “Die Stille Totgeschwiegen” arrived in between, in 2023. On stage Llumen works as a trio, and “Winter Eden” is the first album since “The Breaking Waves.”
