The label debut of Seattle futurepop act GLIS, masterminded by Shaun Frandsen, “Balance” (2003) was among the first releases on the young Alfa Matrix — one of the ten bands that helped launch the label. Its opening anthem “Sunrise” became an instant club favourite.

This expanded 2CD edition adds a full bonus disc of remixes and alternate versions, tracing how “Sunrise” and its companions conquered dancefloors alongside COVENANT, ICON OF COIL, VNV NATION and APOPTYGMA BERZERK. A definitive package for one of futurepop’s early landmark debuts.
