C-Lekktor, the Mexican dark elektro project, will release its two digital EPs, “Antimateria” and “C:file,” as one limited CD on Alfa Matrix on 30 October 2026. Only 300 digipaks are being pressed, and the disc can also be had in a bundle that adds the new Llumen and Implant albums.
The digipak is available now on the Alfa Matrix store on its own or inside the bundle package, and each EP can be streamed on Bandcamp: Antimateria and C:file.
Six new songs on ‘Antimateria’
“Antimateria” is the set of brand-new songs. Markko “The Shape” Barrientos leans on the bilingual harsh vocals and distorted synths he has used for twenty years of C-Lekktor records.
- “Antimateria”
- “Eterna Desolación”
- “Monster”
- “Unbreakable”
- “Never Give A Fuck”
- “De La Gloria Al Infierno 2.0”
A Cenobita tribute with Claus Bita
“C:file” is billed as C-Lekktor vs. Cenobita and reworks four songs by the Mexican cyber-industrial band. Barrientos names Cenobita’s concerts in Mexico’s underground of the 1990s as an early inspiration. Claus Bita, who originally fronted Cenobita, recorded new vocals for the occasion, so the EP is a team-up instead of a straightforward tribute.
- “Confessions”
- “Niño Atómico”
- “Estrellas”
- “Fugitivo”
About C-Lekktor
Behind C-Lekktor stands Markko “The Shape” Barrientos from Mexico. He had been DJing under that name for years before the debut album “Re-A-Gression” appeared in 2004. The sound is harsh, bilingual industrial EBM, which has drawn comparisons with Suicide Commando and Agonoize and places the act beside fellow Mexican names such as Hocico and Rabia Sorda.
Alfa Matrix signed the project in September 2022. The 2CD “New World Disorder” ended a five-year album gap and shipped with a second disc of sixteen remixes by artists including ESA, Venal Flesh and Llumen. Dimitri Berzerk joined shortly afterwards, which makes C-Lekktor a trio, and September 2024 brought the twenty-year anniversary release, the re-recorded “2.0” double CD. Barrientos has also released music as Circuito Cerrado and Kromak. The new disc arrives after a run of live shows and festival appearances.
