Krystal System, the French electro-metal trio, have set 26 June 2026 as the release date for their new album “Da Punch”. It comes out on Spleen+, the sublabel of Alfa Matrix, in a 13-track digital edition and on CD.

The CD can be pre-ordered on the Alfa Matrix store, and the digital album is listed on Bandcamp.

What the album brings

The CD edition adds two bonus tracks to the digital one, among them “Newclear Winter”. The album was recorded by Bonnie, N°7 and bassist φ (Phi), and it features a cover of Front 242’s “Headhunter”.

The follow-up to ‘Éclats Rouges’

“Da Punch” comes after the “Éclats Rouges” EP of June 2025. That EP broke a silence of more than a decade in the studio, as the previous studio release had been “Rage” in 2013, and it introduced Phi as the third member.

About Krystal System

The group was formed in the French capital in April 2006 and was originally just called Krystal. Alternative rock, metal, electronics and cyberpunk all feed into its sound. At the start it was a duo made up of Bonnie (vocals, guitar) and N°7 (vocals, synths, machines).

A demo titled “Demain n’existe pas” came first, and early attention followed via the 2007 International Cravefest Video Awards and live shows in France and Switzerland. By about 2007 the duo had signed with Alfa Matrix and taken the name Krystal System.

The debut album, “Underground”, was released on 14 November 2008, and the EP “Underground: VooDoo Night Sessions” (seven tracks) appeared on 27 November 2009. “Nuclear” came out on 17 June 2011 and “Rage” on 15 March 2013. Today Phi plays bass, and that trio of musicians made both “Éclats Rouges” and “Da Punch”. More news on the band is collected in the Krystal System archive.
