A companion piece to INURE’s album “Subversive”, the “Disillusion” EP (2006) reworks the American act’s dark, Skinny Puppy-schooled electro-industrial into ten club-minded remixes and versions. It’s a chance to hear their brooding source material recast in harder, dancefloor-facing shapes.

The remix cast pulls from across the harsh-electro underground, with UNTER NULL, X-FUSION, C-DRONE-DEFECT and SYSTEM SYN all lending their touch to tracks like “Subversive” and “Suffocate”. A worthy extension of one of the mid-2000s’ most atmospheric industrial debuts.
