Description
After having gathered a global standing ovation for their latest album ‘Sonic Foundation’, followed up by a bunch of precious collaborations that lead singer Noemi Aurora summoned up in the mazes of Electro-Goth and Modern Dance (Blutengel, Alien Vampires, Junksista, SIN.SIN, SD-KRTR, Aesthetische…) and the surprising launch of maXX’s Synth Pop solo project IMJUDAS, shocking Electro Rock cult duo HELALYN FLOWERS now deal a new blow by unleashing their new explosive single ‘Kamikaze Angel’, which sonic results make us think of a full recovery of the high energy and irreverence that marked their legendary 2007 debut-album ‘A Voluntary Coincidence’ brought to the highly distinctive fine formulas of ‘Sonic Foundation’!
“Kamikaze Angel” is a true industrial pop anthem bound to generate hi-energy vibes on the dancefloors thanks to its explosive synth arrangements, its hammering martial beats, its powerful balance between guitars and machines, and the contagious melodic force of Noemi’s female vocals. This new club hit then receives some four different readings by fully skilled acts, like the Italian Aggrotech coven Adam Kult, German synth-pop revelation Six Faces (with a remix produced and mixed by Mario Ruhlicke, acclaimed producer from the Berlin based Fear In Motion – Blutengel, Massive Ego…), the brave and challenging Funksista, the Funk alter ego of vicious electro club-shakers Junksista, and long-time label mates Psy’aviah, with a tortured version that pleasantly plays with fire by soiling a synth-pop carpet with sci-fi-ed fx stabs…
And that’s not all folks! To show you that their forthcoming new album “Nyctophilia” will definitely be a perfect candidate for being elected one of the best albums of this new year 2018, the HELALYN FLOWERS duo also reveals a second brand new song with “Beyond” showcasing the more synth pop catchy side of the band’s classic sound-style, fusing catchy and intense vocal lines with viral electronic grooves, adrenaline-pumping electro-rock choruses and upbeat industrial rhythm patterns.
A 6-track new EP gathering all the best ingredients that made our HELALYN FLOWERS grow and bloom on the underground electro/rock – industrial/metal scene throughout their impressive music repertoire and gives us a delicious sonic appetizer for what is yet to come… They definitely wet our appetite for more. Consume it loud and without any moderation.
