To celebrate their 30th anniversary, DIGITAL FACTOR announced that they will release the charity album “G.B.A.” in October 2023. All proceeds from the album will be donated to the Kinderstiftung Altenburg, a foundation for disadvantaged children. (Link: https://www.kinderstiftung-altenburg.de/)
“Ouvre” is the second single taken from this forthcoming conceptual album based on eclectic collaborations with local German artists from Mike Langer’s hometown. This time, the song features actor Manuel Kressin contributing French spoken vocals to this upbeat and addictive technoish track. His vocals reinforce the elevating groove of the track until it reaches its peak. In addition to the 3 different versions of the title-song (with the “Berlin” and “Van Wijk” remixes), DIGITAL FACTOR also revealed a 3rd album song with the synth pop cut “Your Echo” in its exclusive “JFlash” mix version by Andy Drabek who became acquainted with Depeche Mode remixes, for which he used only the band’s original sounds that were filtered and rearranged. And that’s exactly what he did here again…
This new single simply confirms that “G.B.A.” will be a very exciting electronic music album rich of its sonic and collaborative diversity where multiple artists join hands for a noble charity cause.
