Brazilian electronic duo Aesthetische put out the digital EP “Every Beat Matters” through Alfa Matrix on 26 June 2026. Its four tracks and three remixes pair EBM with industrialised future pop and dancefloor electronics, and they come with a clear stand against extremism.
“Every Beat Matters” is available now on the Alfa Matrix store and can be streamed on Bandcamp.
Music with a message
The EP’s title doubles as a position against authoritarian talk, fascism, warfare and bigotry, casting each beat as a prompt to raise awareness, resist and stand together. The campaign artwork makes this explicit with the slogans “Extremism has no place here” and “FCK NZS,” and, according to the label, the record turns a plain idea into a rallying cry. It carries on from the duo’s 2022 album “rvprty”, which was put out as a protest aimed at far-right politics, hostility to science and attacks on democracy.
The EP’s contents
The release has four songs, followed by three alternate takes on one of them:
- “Break The State”
- “Thirty Two Percent”
- “Chew The Loop”
- “Parallel Worlds”
- “Chew The Loop” (beat the loop remix)
- “Chew The Loop” (shortmix version)
- “Chew The Loop” (spit the loop mix)
“Chew The Loop” was previewed on the Alfa Matrix compilation “Sounds From The Matrix 026”, which came out on 19 June 2026. Gui Pires and Fab Viscardi build the music from machine rhythms, synth hooks and forceful vocals, and name Front Line Assembly and Front 242 as touchstones.
About Aesthetische
Recent EPs include “Confidence Is Silent” (2024) and “Selling Fear” (2025), the latter again nodding to Front Line Assembly and Front 242. With “Every Beat Matters,” the duo keep matching dancefloor EBM with anti-authoritarian messages.
Gui Pires and Fab Viscardi, two Brazilian musicians with a past in the electro-industrial band Aghast View, founded Aesthetische in 2012 and have worked with Alfa Matrix from their very first release. The catalogue includes the albums “Powerswitch”, “HybridCore”, “Co3xist3ns3” and “rvprty,” released in 2012, 2014, 2019 and 2022 respectively, as well as numerous EPs and singles.
