One year after tearing their own legacy apart and rebuilding it from the ground up with “XX20XX”, ACYLUM return with “XXI21XXI” – and this time, there is no looking back. If “XX20XX” was about reconstruction, “XXI21XXI” is about escalation.

The 20th anniversary release proved that ACYLUM could take their most defining material and transform it into something harder, heavier and more powerful than ever before. One year later, Pedro and Nadine Engel take that approach even further, pushing the boundaries of their dark elektro / industrial universe towards its most aggressive and uncompromising incarnation yet.

Yet aggression is never the whole story. “Romance – XXI21XXI” and “Masquerade – XXI21XXI” expose the darker emotional contrasts lurking beneath the brutality, while “Waldgeist – XXI21XXI”, featuring TOTEM OBSCURA, plunges deep into a ritualistic and ominous dimension.

And then comes “Alone” once again – this time handed over to DIVERJE and NANO INFECT, who take the XXI21XXI version into two very different territories, extending its destructive energy beyond the original ACYLUM assault.
