Belgian electronic pop act 808 Dot Pop has unveiled the “neofuturism EP,” a three-track digital outing, through Alfa Matrix on 6 November 2026. The project is the solo vehicle of Passenger S, also known from Metroland, and this new EP carries forward the architecture-themed concept running through the act’s latest work.
Each of the three pieces matches an architectural movement to a landmark that embodies it: “neofuturism (l’hemisfèric)” (2:47) nods to the Valencia arts complex, “purism (maison guiette)” (5:27) to Le Corbusier’s house in Antwerp, and “neofuturism (space needle)” (6:28) to Seattle’s Space Needle. The “neofuturism” and “purism” labels, tied to other buildings, also surface across the track lists of the upcoming albums “Minimalism” and “Maximalism,” both set for Alfa Matrix on 30 November 2026. Fans of Kraftwerk, Komputer and Orbital will find plenty to like here.
The “neofuturism EP” is available now on the Alfa Matrix store and streams in full over on Bandcamp.
Another chapter in the building-themed run
This EP arrives in the wake of the “minimalism EP” digital single from 25 September 2026, which trailed the twin “Minimalism” and “Maximalism” full-lengths. Between them those companion albums hold 18 tracks, each named for an architectural “ism” paired with a particular structure; “Minimalism” is pitched by the label as the pair’s “white album,” with “Maximalism” standing as its darker “black album” counterpart.

About 808 Dot Pop
808 Dot Pop is Belgian producer Passenger S’s own electronic pop outlet; he additionally records as Metroland. He got 808 Dot Pop underway in March 2020 with the debut “The Colour Temperature” and its partnering remix set “The Cubic Temperature.” The project came back in March 2023 with a triple drop — “AM 1350” and “FM 88.2” on CD plus “MW 720” digitally — followed that June by a double EP. In September 2026 it revealed the paired albums “Minimalism” and “Maximalism,” a concept rooted in 20th-century architecture and heralded by the “minimalism EP” single.
The “neofuturism EP” carries that architectural idea further with new building-tied takes on “neofuturism” and “purism,” ahead of the two albums arriving on 30 November 2026. More of the label’s output awaits on the Alfa Matrix Bandcamp.
