The second album from AYRIA, the Canadian project of Toronto’s Jennifer Parkin, “Flicker” (2005) followed her acclaimed debut “Debris” and pushed her sound into bolder, more diverse territory. Sharp electro-pop hooks meet a darker, dancefloor-driven edge borrowed from minimal techno and early EBM.

This expanded 2CD edition adds a full bonus disc of remixes and reworkings, showing just how far cuts from “Flicker” travelled across the club underground. Melodic and confrontational in equal measure, it’s a key early chapter in one of futurepop’s most distinctive careers.
