“I Will Crush You & Go To Hell” is first of all the new film by Fabio Soares and Célia Paysan. A quite unconventional road movie, a rather feminine and psychedelic film, telling the journey of two sisters running away from their past to give their lives a new meaning. A quest for deliverance and freedom that will bring hell to all those who will cross their path… 

Vivid, violent and poetic, the plot of this new movie of course caught Boog and Diana’s attention who rapidly accepted taking this new creative challenge. The German duo rolled up their sleeves and let the instruments flow… Definitely daring leaving the beaten path of the characteristic dancey / funky style of JUNKSISTA and creating ethereal pop songs giving a sensational hypnotic feel to the movie. They managed creating a highly emotional vibe enhancing the pictures, making you feel you are right there with the Fox sisters. The goosebumps-worthy “Let Go“ is the title track of the movie and it does just that. The second contribution is the song “Piece Of Me“ that perfectly sets the mood for a sexy pool scene… 

But as always with the JUNKSISTA gang: that’s not all!! To spice things up a little Diana and Boog created dancefloor-compatible versions of both tracks. Now you may not only get hypnotized by those songs – you may also shake your booty to them! As unexpected as this unique collaboration was, JUNKSISTA decided out of the blue to dig the piece up again, throw it into the shredder and put the pieces back together to create something new, sexy and exciting! And that’s not all – we get a little more: several artists joined this project and delivered their very own interpretation of “Live A Little”. The outcome is more than surprising! Who would have thought that something as funky as the original track would also work as an EBM, a synth wave or electro pop song without losing anything from its ultra-sexy diva-vibe…

Originally self-released at the end of last year, Alfa Matrix is now proud to release to a wider audience, the by 8 tracks extended “Decadence” edition of the mini-album “Sinner’s Delight” by Germany’s brightest and most successful sexport: the one and only JUNKSISTA gang!

Dancier, harder and definitely darker, “Sinner’s Delight” has all the qualities to get the dancefloor crowd addicted, while keeping JUNKSISTA’s characteristic assets: it’s catchy and fun, it is sexy and has attitude. Although “Sinner’s Delight” is quite diverse in its sound and overall feeling, it keeps us confined in a certain comfort zone. It’s resonating with broken heart clichés, sultry sensual vocals, sexy hooks, addictive bass lines, punchy beats and provocative lyrics.

“Drug” (the single release of this mini album with a drool-worthy video clip!) is a perfect opener for this EP: a straight and crunchy EBM song filled with Diana’s hot vocals, edgy bass lines and Boog’s stunning production skills. After the harsh, erotic and strangely exciting vibe of “This Room”, we move towards the retro feel of “8008” with a catchy mixture of robotic vocals and epic guitar licks. Then comes the big “Jump”! A mesmerising dominatrix type of song with a chorus that says it all: “I say jump, you say how high…”. It offers another great sexual innuendo on this EP. The melodic “How Deep is My Love” is for sure one of the most interesting and complex songs on this EP. It has a lovely flow and the lead melody grooves on top of stylish pads and an analogue – almost EBMish – bassline. “Slow”, the last song on this mini-album, is nothing but what it should be: a smooth JUNKSISTA track about getting fucked nice and slow, reaching the climax with its mid-tempo beat, atmospheric sounds and hypnotic vocals…

The first time that Timur talked to Diana and Boog about their potential collaboration for this soundtrack, he told them “the problem is….the deadline is in 6 hours!?”. Where most artists would have run away screaming with both arms in the air, our two crazy cats were immediately up for the challenge and created the song “Gift” right on time… the rest is history: JUNKSISTA triggered such enthusiasm with this dark and aggressive song, that Timur promptly decided to postpone the release of his movie, asking JUNKSISTA to write and produce the music for the entire film. 

JUNKSISTA’S 7 new tracks are inspired by the dense tension-loaded atmospheres and the almost deviant darkness of Mumukuba’s images. This mini-album displays the movie’s diversity running through calm, strange, violent and intensely romantic moments… also reflecting the wide music spectrum of the JUNKSISTA duo, who keep refusing to be pigeonholed in any music genre drawer. 

From the vibrating basslines and hypnotizing melody of “Rage” and the harsh industrial “Trust No Bitch” to the “Electro-on-weeds” groove of the psychedelic “Ego” and the floating ambience of “Ain’t Good For Me”, through the desperate feel of “Constant Vibration” and the retro wave-pop of “The Proposal”; JUNKSISTA captured the movie’s emotions and fused them with their very own sonic universe.

While their “Bad Case Of Fabulous” album seems to have become one of the most talked about releases on Belgium’s Alfa Matrix label last year, the German duo could not resist to the temptation of turning this successful and intense song and heartbreaking video clip (with famous director Fabio Soares) into a “Life Is Unfair (And Love Is A Bitch)” club invasion by arranging frontal dancefloor groovy remix collaborations with PSY’AVIAH and ESSENCE OF MIND while CANAL POP cared for an e-pop radio mix.

Always thirsty and hungry for more, the JUNKSISTA gang did not stop the sonic orgy there and lined-up some additional heavy upbeat reworks of “Fabulous” by Zulu DJ as well Gabor Gergacz, while Greek label mates VIRGINS O.R PIGEONS mutated “Sexpectations” into a carrying vibrating club tune. Another stunning EP from JUNKSISTA clearly aimed at the dancefloor this time and once again showing us that JUNKSISTA isn’t afraid to combine elements that don’t seem to fit together at first thought: the electronic beats, the synth sounds and the glam rock guitars do a perfect job at making you move your ass to these grooves…
