Estonian electro-industrial powerhouse FREAKANGEL return with an extended edition of their acclaimed “Control EP”, now expanded with 4 exclusive bonus remixes of the title track. Originally conceived as the final chapter of a dark emotional trilogy, the release now offers new perspectives on “Control”, reimagined by a diverse cast of artists who each expose a different facet of its hypnotic darkness.

Featuring the brand-new song “Control” alongside the previously released singles “Death Bloom” and “Suicidal (Break The Cycle)”, the EP completes a conceptual arc exploring manipulation, emotional dependency and the dangerous illusion of control inside human relationships.

Led by the uncompromising vision of Dmitry Darling and written in close creative symbiosis with Ocean Black, “Control EP” is less a collection of songs than a psychological descent. Across these tracks, FREAKANGEL dissect obsession, self-destruction and the painful clarity that eventually breaks through the fog of emotional manipulation.

The journey began with “Suicidal (Break The Cycle)”, a volatile burst of electro-industrial aggression that starts tense and restrained before detonating like a hand grenade. Driven by venomous vocals, razor-sharp electronics and explosive guitars, the track channels pure catharsis — a furious call to shatter destructive patterns before they consume everything.

Then came “Death Bloom”, diving deeper into the abyss. Built on pounding beats, cutting synths and emotionally charged vocals, the song unfolds like a dark metaphor: a flower blooming in a poisoned garden, fully aware that its beauty carries the seed of its own destruction. Haunting yet defiant, it captures the moment where fate and resistance collide.

The trilogy reaches its climax with “Control.” Slower, darker and more introspective, the track reveals the aftermath of the downward spiral. Hypnotic female vocals float like seductive sirens above a brooding soundscape, while Dmitry Darling’s tortured delivery exposes the raw nerve beneath the illusion of power. It is sinister, heartbreaking and strangely addictive — a moment of brutal self-recognition where obsession finally reveals its true face.

This extended edition pushes the story even further through four exclusive reinterpretations of “Control”. PSYCHOLIES amplifies the song’s haunting emotional core, wrapping its melancholy in a dense and cinematic electronic atmosphere. PASHARAV injects fresh energy into the track, transforming its tension into a driving and immersive dancefloor experience without sacrificing its emotional depth. New Alfa Matrix labelmates SPANKTHENUN takes the composition into darker and more experimental territory, emphasizing its hypnotic qualities through twisted textures and unsettling rhythmic layers. Finally, IMPLANT delivers an infectious minimal electro rework to close it all.

With its cinematic atmosphere, meticulous production and emotional intensity, the extended “Control EP” showcases FREAKANGEL at the height of their craft while offering four compelling alternate visions of its defining song. A cathartic closing statement to this dark narrative… before the band takes an announced sharp turn back to their harsher elektro roots for the next chapter.

Lose control. Face the truth.

Then take it back.

Brazil’s uncompromising electronic duo AESTHETISCHE returns with “Every Beat Matters”, a powerful new EP delivering six explosive cuts of hard-edged EBM, industrialized future pop, and dancefloor-driven electronics.

Forged by Gui Pires and Fab Viscardi, AESTHETISCHE once again blends relentless machine grooves, soaring synth hooks, and commanding vocals into a sonic manifesto where energy and conviction collide. Drawing inspiration from genre-defining acts such as FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY and the classic EBM spirit of FRONT 242, the Brazilian outfit channels raw emotion and contemporary urgency into every track.

From the rebellious pulse of “Break The State” and the pounding drive of “Thirty Two Percent” to the hypnotic circuitry of “Chew The Loop” and the atmospheric depth of “Parallel Worlds”, “Every Beat Matters” balances aggression, melody and club-focused intensity with surgical precision.

At a time when division, manipulation, and uncertainty continue to shape the world around us with authoritarian rhetoric, fascism, war and increasing prejudice, AESTHETISCHE reminds us that every action counts, every voice matters, and “every beat matters”… A simple message transformed into a powerful call for awareness, resistance and unity.

Powerful. Defiant. Unstoppable.

AESTHETISCHE proves once again why they remain one of the strongest forces in South America’s electronic underground.

For over two decades, Hungary’s cult act FIRST AID 4 SOULS has operated in the shadows of the electro-industrial underground, forging a body of work driven by confrontation, experimentation, and absolute artistic independence. With “Totems In A Field Of Pain”, mastermind István Gazdag returns to the project’s darkest and most punishing roots. A 25-track digital release.

Combining material born across a twenty-year creative journey with brand-new compositions forged in 2026, “Totems In A Field Of Pain” delivers a relentless assault of corrosive electronics, militant rhythms, mechanical atmospheres, and distorted human emotion.

At the heart of the album stands the return of Mortum – HUMAN VAULT, whose collaborations with FIRST AID 4 SOULS fuel some of the release’s most devastating moments. Tracks like “Pre-Rendered Biological Evolution”, “Binary Defect”, “King Of Filth” and “The Fate Of The Tormentor” embody the album’s spirit of resistance, decay and controlled chaos.

The album also gathers a formidable cast of long-time collaborators from across the industrial underground: IMPURFEKT, STAHLGEIST, UNITED GODS, K.I.F.O.T.H., TOR MARROCK, V.E.N., and SVOID. Some tracks are brand new, others have been completely rebuilt, remixed or remastered into darker and more powerful forms.

Throughout its 25 tracks, FIRST AID 4 SOULS rejects conformity, manipulation, and passive obedience. These songs channel tension, rage and defiant resistance. No comfort. No nostalgia. No compromise.

Drawing inspiration from pioneers such as SKINNY PUPPY, NUMB, COIL, OHGR, and LASSIGUE BENDTHAUS, the album remains unmistakably FIRST AID 4 SOULS: harsh, oppressive, intelligent and deeply human beneath layers of machinery and noise.

The production refuses modern polish. The sound is deliberately abrasive, heavy, and brutal. Every track is designed to leave a mark. This is not background music. This is electro-industrial as confrontation. Electro-industrial as resistance. Electro-industrial as survival.

Following the resonating return of CUT.RATE.BOX with new music and renewed live activity, the retrospective collection “Maps of Stone” reignited interest in the project’s long-unavailable back catalogue. Rather than simply reissuing these recordings, G. Wygonik chose to revisit and remaster them, adding bonus material and rebuilding each release with brand-new conceptual artwork.

Released simultaneously, the four albums / EP’s forming the “redux” series reconnect past and present – restoring key moments of the CUT.RATE.BOX discography while preserving the raw emotion, tension, and experimental spirit that defined the project from the beginning.

Blending dark electro, industrial noise, atmospheric guitars, and melodic EBM influences, CUT.RATE.BOX evolved through the years from abrasive underground electronics inspired by acts like SKINNY PUPPY and MENTALLO & THE FIXER toward a more cinematic and melodic sound recalling HAUJOBB, COVENANT, ASSEMBLAGE 23 or VNV NATION – always driven by G. Wygonik’s emotional intensity and sharp lyrical perspective.

Originally released in 2000 on Gashed! Records, “New Religion” was the first full-length album created by the core duo of G. Wygonik and Clint Sand. Combining harsh electronics with strong melodic hooks, the album quickly became a breakthrough release for CUT.RATE.BOX, with tracks like “New Religion” and “Misery” receiving heavy college radio support and pushing the band into the CMJ Top 10 for eleven consecutive weeks.

The album also led to performances at CMJ’s “Music Marathon” in New York alongside ASSEMBLAGE 23 and longtime allies BEBORN BETON, while Germany’s Accession Records helped expand the band’s audience internationally. Following the closure of Gashed! Records, “New Religion” was later reissued in 2005 by WTII Records.

For this 2026 “redux” edition, the album has been fully remastered and slightly restructured, highlighting the balance between aggressive electronics, emotional songwriting, and cinematic atmosphere that defined this era of CUT.RATE.BOX.

Bonus material includes a previously unreleased alternate version of “In Your Eyes” featuring Stefan Netschio from BEBORN BETON, a demo version of “New Religion,” a remix of “Restless” by TORRENT VACCINE, and two live intro pieces originally used to open the band’s concerts around 1999–2000.

Released simultaneously, the four albums / EP’s forming the “redux” series reconnect past and present – restoring key moments of the CUT.RATE.BOX discography while preserving the raw emotion, tension, and experimental spirit that defined the project from the beginning.

Wygonik’s emotional intensity and sharp lyrical perspective.

Originally released in 1999, “Blueiceblack” was the first CUT.RATE.BOX recording created after G. Wygonik’s move to New Orleans. The album also marked the beginning of his collaboration with former EX-VOTO guitarist Clint Sand, combining noisy electronics, sharp synth programming, atmospheric guitar work, and bleak lyrical themes into a uniquely tense and emotional sound.

Recorded in a modest home studio setup and mixed live to DAT, the original material carried a rough and unstable character that became part of its identity. For this 2026 “redux” edition, G. Wygonik revisited the recordings using modern restoration and AI-assisted mastering tools, bringing greater depth and clarity while preserving the album’s original harshness and atmosphere.

Songs from “Blueiceblack” were heavily featured during the band’s performances at Nothing Records’ “Night of Nothing” events alongside NINE INCH NAILS, POP WILL EAT ITSELF and PRICK.

This expanded edition also includes three 1998 bonus tracks: the previously unreleased “Black Mirror”, the militant “SUPPRESS,” originally written for an animal-rights benefit compilation, and a dub-inspired remix of “Disease” by producer Gregory Butler.

Originally released in 2001, “Dataseed” became CUT.RATE.BOX’s first internationally distributed release and captured G. Wygonik’s bleak – and now strikingly prophetic – vision of the internet’s growing influence on society. Themes of technological dependence, corporate control, toxic masculinity, religion, and social decay ran throughout the album, alongside references to Wygonik’s research into nanotechnology and his work as a designer.

Pushing beyond the more direct club-oriented sound the band had become known for, “Dataseed” embraced a more conceptual and atmospheric approach. Extended tracks like “Dataseed” and “Enigma” explored slower builds and cinematic tension, while “Enigma” also featured the ethereal vocals of Victoria Lloyd from CLAIRE VOYANT.

Fully remastered, this “redux” edition gathers together material previously scattered across regional editions, including both the US and EU versions of “Thin Ice”, plus remixes by ASSEMBLAGE 23, STROMKERN, and DJ Tony Estrada. Bonus tracks also include early demo versions of “Ego” and “Radical,” revealing alternate lyrics and different creative directions before the songs reached their final form.

Although originally released in 2017, the material on “Xenophobe” was written much earlier, during 2005–2006, and was initially intended to become the next full-length CUT.RATE.BOX album. Those plans changed dramatically after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, when G. Wygonik lost his home and nearly all of his possessions – with only his music studio surviving the disaster.

The EP captures the emotional aftermath of that period. While “Slip Away” reworked unused lyrics originally written for G.’s collaboration with Alex Matheu from NEGATIVE FORMAT into a melancholic synth-driven song, the following instrumental pieces – “Breach”, “Loss”, “Letting Go” and “Gone” – were composed in the haze of displacement, grief, and forced reinvention after leaving New Orleans behind. Sparse, cinematic, and emotionally heavy, these tracks were conceived more as emotional snapshots than traditional songs.

Fully remastered, “Xenophobe redux” restores these recordings with greater depth and clarity while preserving their fragile and deeply introspective atmosphere.

This expanded edition also includes bonus tracks such as an unreleased version of “Aperture” and “Fearful,” originally created for a friend’s video-editing competition entry.

The demand for the vinyl edition of FRONT 242’s final live album has been nothing short of phenomenal. With both the crystal clear transparent edition and the limited clear purple fanpack selling out before the official street date, we’ve pressed an additional 1,000 copies on stunning solid silver vinyl. If you missed out the first time, this is your chance—but don’t wait. Once this pressing is gone, it’s gone.

After more than four decades of (re)defining electronic body music, FRONT 242 conclude their live journey with “Black Out”, the definitive final live recording of their farewell tour – spanning over 40 performances across 6 months in Europe and the USA.

Recorded at AB Brussels (Ancienne Belgique) in January 2025, in their Belgian hometown, this album captures the intensity, precision, and raw energy that have defined FRONT 242’s live performances for generations.

“It is with a heavy mix of emotion that we close this great adventure, some 40 years in the making. We realize that ending our journey at this time, when we are still vibrant and full of energy is how the band should be remembered. We are excited to share these meaningful final performances with our wonderful fans who have been with us through it all”, the band wrote when announcing their final tour.

Marking a historic moment, the album also includes the first official releases of several new tracks the band had introduced live over recent years (“Generator”, “Fix It”, “Hide & Seek”) .

For “Black Out”, FRONT 242 members Patrick Codenys, Jean-Luc De Meyer and Richard23 are joined on stage by Tim Kroker on drums, with mixing and production handled in the studio by David Baboulis from the band SOLDOUT.

Spanning the full FRONT 242 repertoire – from early foundational cuts to genre-defining anthems – “Black Out” stands as both a powerful farewell and a final testament to the band’s uncompromising vision.
