With Humility, ELEKTROSTAUB opens a new chapter – not louder, not bigger, but deeper! The 3rd studio album by mastermind Patrick Knoch is a statement of gratitude and trust, built on a simple yet rare principle: knowing when to step back and let others shine. Rather than putting himself at the centre, Knoch once again proves his greatest talent lies in recognizing the right voice for the right song, and giving it space to unfold.

Tracks like “Falling” (with ECHO IMAGE) and “Too Far From The Pack” (with Salva Maine) already set the tone with two highly successful pre-release EPs, showcasing ELEKTROSTAUB’s refined formula: emotional depth, club efficiency and vocal performances that elevate each composition beyond genre conventions.

The album does not follow a strict concept. Instead, it functions as a carefully curated mosaic united by its collaborative spirit and the diversity of its guest artists. Each track has its own identity, shaped by a distinct vocal personality, yet all remain unmistakably ELEKTROSTAUB. And the guest list reads like a who’s who of the modern synth / electronic pop scene: Richard Bjørklund (SPEKTRALIZED), Salva Maine (CULTURE KULTÜR), Lis van den Akker, ECHO IMAGE, J:DEAD, Alex Braun, Lilli K. Engelhardt, René Anke (LOGIC & OLIVIA), BEYOND BORDER and Mel Gúntzelsson (FUTURE TRAIL, davaNtage) each bringing their own emotion, character and colour to the album.

Musically rooted in future pop, synth pop, and electro wave, “Humility” offers a rich and emotional journey through themes of friendship, love, loss and introspection. Powerful beats meet sophisticated, often orchestral harmonic textures, layered pads, and lovingly crafted arrangements – elements that have become a signature of the ELEKTROSTAUB sound. Catchy melodies and memorable hooks coexist effortlessly with melancholic atmospheres, resulting in a finely balanced mix of ballads, mid-tempo tracks, and club-ready anthems.

“Humility” is not about ego. It is about connection. About collaboration. About understanding that the strongest moments happen when talent is shared rather than claimed.

For fans of VNV NATION, SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS, DE/VISION, SOLAR FAKE, MONDTRÄUME or yet ICON OF COIL, “Humility” stands as a pure and authentic future pop album – heartfelt, melodic, and timeless.

A quiet strength. A collective voice.

This is “Humility”.

What if “Encore!” wasn’t the end of the story but the explosion after the applause?

With “Balancing Chaos”, THE NAMES tear open the songs of “Encore!” and let others rewire their DNA. 13 remixes deconstruct, reshape and reignite the material, before 4 original tracks bring everything back into focus. Not as a return to the past, but as proof of transformation.

The groove has shifted. The perspective has widened. This is not a remix album as accessory. This is a parallel dimension. Sound revisited. Sound reimagined. THE NAMES have always balanced melancholy with movement. Here, they push that tension further than ever. If “Encore!” reaffirmed their timeless identity – born out of the legendary Factory Records era alongside JOY DIVISION and NEW ORDER – then “Balancing Chaos” dares to dismantle that identity and reassemble it in motion. Taking what exists. Breaking it apart. Preserving the core. Creating chaos from order – and then sculpting a new balance.

Jean-Marc Lederman’s tribute-laced take on “Watching For The New World” – dedicated to Annik Honoré – opens the album in cinematic, emotional depth. From there, the pulse intensifies. Ukrainian HARD FACTS injects “Procrastination” with urgent, war-forged club energy. Producer Gil Robert becomes a central architect of the album’s sonic mutations and his multiple reworks slide from retro-futuristic drive to dark electro-pop elegance and shadowy ambient tension. Elsewhere, the reinterpretations spiral outward, coming from an eclectic panel of artists like the unique Mike Theis (known for his work with TRICKY/MASSIVE ATTACK), EDEN, NEVEL, HALCYON LOOP, Rob G. Nichols, DISKODIKTATOR or yet ERROR FATE. Beats harden, basslines deepen, textures freeze into glacial synthscapes or spiral into hypnotic loops. The dancefloor becomes laboratory…

Each remix preserves the lyrical DNA and melodic essence of THE NAMES – those unmistakable vocals, that tension between melancholy and momentum – yet opens unexpected corridors. Words dance on new beats. Meanings shift without betrayal. This is not a polite remix collection. It’s controlled demolition. Familiar melodies fracture, vocals gain new weight, grooves turn physical.

Where “Encore!” celebrated continuity, “Balancing Chaos” celebrates transformation. Chaos is introduced – but never without purpose. And that’s the point! THE NAMES are not a heritage act protecting a legacy. They are fearless enough to let their songs mutate. “Balancing Chaos” shows a band still unpredictable, still daring, still ready to jump into new dimensions of sound. And what if the jump isn’t forward but sideways?

With “Balancing Chaos”, THE NAMES deliver another “Encore!” but not as you expect it. Not a repetition. A mutation. THE NAMES are not a heritage act revisiting former glories. They are fluid. fearless. open… From post-punk roots to dark electro pop, from ambient abstraction to club propulsion, “Balancing Chaos” shows a band willing to jump onto the dancefloor – and into the unknown – without losing identity. The unpredictability is the point. Reinvention is the tradition.

Prepare for shifting textures. Prepare for shadows illuminated by strobes. Prepare for balance meeting chaos – and finding a new equilibrium.

THE NAMES are timeless. And still moving.

When balance meets chaos, THE NAMES do not fall apart.

They evolve.

What happens when two long-time friends and partners in sound once again switch roles in their creative playground? After CUBIC had completely reimagined “The Colour Temperature” into the acclaimed “Cubic Temperature” album, it is now Passenger S of 808 DOT POP (also one half of cult vintage synth act METROLAND) who takes on the challenge of reshaping CUBIC’s “Back to Basic” into a brand-new sonic entity: “Back to 808”.

This is not your average remix album. Loaded with CUBIC’s original stems – kicks, hi-hats, bass sequences, and effects – and fused with freshly recorded melodies, sequences, and samples, “Back to 808” elevates itself into something more profound: an 808 DOT POP album in all but name.

Faithful to the band’s trademark DNA, “Back to 808” unveils a more melodic, intricate, and immersive dimension of CUBIC’s work, prioritizing the listening experience over the dancefloor punch. It’s a seamless blend of retro-futuristic synths, vocoder textures, and electronic storytelling rooted in the aesthetic universe of 808 DOT POP.

Across 11 tracks — from the transformed “Art In,” “Human Computer,” “Offline,” and “Titt,” to the exclusive “2MFHD” – every piece has been reimagined with meticulous precision. The result is a hypnotic, conceptual voyage where technology and melody intertwine, celebrating both the past and the future of electronic pop.

Visually, the album artwork stays faithful to the retro-commemorative C64 aesthetic of “Back to Basic”, yet cleverly adapts to reflect its rebirth under the “Back to 808” identity.

A conceptual collaboration, a respectful reinvention, and above all a celebration of friendship through sound, “Back to 808” is destined to delight every fan of 808 DOT POP and lovers of finely crafted synth music alike.

With “Progenitrix”, István Gazdag opens a bold new chapter for FIRST AID 4 SOULS, abandoning the project’s industrial harshness to embrace a more sensual and evocative universe where darkwave, goth and post-punk shimmer with electronic authenticity. Conceived as a celebration of female creativity and power, the album unites an extraordinary cast of Divas of the Dark: Aux Animaux, Emke (Black Nail Cabaret), Marita Volodina (Stridulum – Blood Tears After), Ruth García Núñez de Arenas (From Hell), Aleksandra Rempel, Kriistal Ann (Paradox Obscur), Linda Daemon, Celina and Valanaïs. Each of these artists lends her unique voice and aura, transforming the songs into intimate rituals of desire, strength and mystery.

Entirely crafted on lovingly restored vintage synths and samplers from the eighties and nineties, “Progenitrix” radiates an authentic retro-futurist soul. It is an album that dances on a razor’s edge between past and future – a goth dress-up with metal frames peeking out from beneath, a female cyborg of sound, both delicate and unbreakable. The music seduces and unsettles in equal measure, offering whispered confessions in the dark carried by voices that are at once ethereal and fierce.

At once a sonic talisman and a feminist statement, “Progenitrix” is also the first part of a larger duology. Its forthcoming counterpart, built entirely on male voices, will complete the cycle and together the two works will form a meditation on unity and duality, inspired by ancient myths of love and wholeness. But for now, “Progenitrix” stands on its own as a rare and precious creation, a deeply emotional and sensual journey born from a global network of exceptional women destined to leave their mark on the contemporary landscape of darkwave, goth and electronic music.

Brace yourself for the next chapter in the FRONTAL BOUNDARY assault. After shaking the scene with the bile-soaked “Hate” and the suffocating “Faith”, the American trio return with their long-awaited new full-length album “Failure” – a dark, unflinching descent into rage, despair, and fragile hope.

Across 12 devastating tracks, FRONTAL BOUNDARY rip open the human condition: seething anger (“Hate”), shattering emptiness (“Nothing”), the urge to erase and rebuild (“Reset”), and fleeting glimpses of light (“Awake”). The album also features powerful collaborations – UNTER NULL joins forces on the venomous “Hollow”, while PROTOKOLL 19 lend their weight to the crushing “Made to Suffer”.

The journey doesn’t end there: the limited 2CD digipak edition pushes “Failure” into overdrive with 12 exclusive bonus tracks and remixes. A crushing lineup of contributors – UNTER NULL, VISCERA DRIP, PYGMY CHILDREN, MISERIA ULTIMA, HER OWN WORLD, FACT PATTERN, BLAKLIGHT, DREAD RISKS, CONTRACULT, LIVERNOIS – reshape the FRONTAL BOUNDARY arsenal into new club-destroying forms, while the band themselves deliver some own punishing reworks…

With its blend of relentless industrial beats, infectious dark melodies, and vocals that cut with fury and emotion, “Failure” cements FRONTAL BOUNDARY as one of the fastest rising forces in the modern electro-industrial/EBM scene. Fans of SUICIDE COMMANDO, C-LEKKTOR, COMBICHRIST, LEAETHER STRIP, UNTER NULL or ROTERSAND will find themselves right at home in this sonic wreckage.

Visually translated into dark industrial artwork by Vlad McNeally, “Failure” is more than an album – it’s a raw confrontation with everything that breaks us, and the sound of clawing back from the abyss.

FRONTAL BOUNDARY invite you to step inside. Resistance is futile.

Brazil’s powerhouse EBM duo AESTHETISCHE, the brainchild of Gui Pires and Fab Viscardi, strikes back with a thunderous new statement for 2025: “Selling Fear”. In a world unraveling under the weight of disinformation, media manipulation, and rising socio-political unrest, this new EP hits like a pulse-pounding wake-up call – an urgent, defiant soundtrack to an era on the brink.

With “Selling Fear”, AESTHETISCHE channels their signature blend of precision electronics and gritty intensity into six razor-sharp tracks that blur the lines between protest anthem and dancefloor weapon. Drawing from the legacy of titans like FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY and FRONT 242 (“Tyranny For You”-era), the duo fuses raw industrial textures with melodic EBM grooves – combining visceral energy with cerebral depth.

From the aggressive rhythmic assault of the title track to its compelling reinterpretations, “Selling Fear” offers multiple perspectives on the same core truth: resistance is necessary, and silence is complicity. Also included is a brand-new 2025 rework of “Everything Ends”, transforming last year’s original into a punchy, club-ready anthem.

This is more than just an EP. “Selling Fear” is a manifesto. AESTHETISCHE calls on all sonic dissidents to confront the noise, decode the lies, and turn fear into fuel.

Let the machines speak – and let the truth be heard.

The CD version holds a bonus track only available on the CD version.

Hungary’s hardest EBM export kicks the courtroom doors off their hinges with “Justice”, a 13‑round barrage that proves STAHLGEIST were only sharpening their blades on their recent teaser EP “Silence’. Founders István Gazdag (FIRST AID 4 SOULS / FIRST AID TECH) and vocalist Tamás Bank (WORKER MUNKAS, INTERZONE INC.) deliver their most disciplined – and most lethal – record to date: ruthlessly dance‑engineered, sonically pristine, and black as spilled oil.

From the siren‑lit opener “Justice” through the asphalt‑melodic “Bad Galaxy”, the jackhammer club hit “Boots On The Ground” and the closing hush of “Silence”, the album grinds together the militant pulse of early NITZER EBB, the club-driven melodies of AND ONE, the venom of LEAETHER STRIP and the surgical punch of FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, but stamped with STAHLGEIST’s unmistakable Hungarian steel. Gazdag’s production fuses Tech‑grade clarity with FA4S‑grade darkness; Bank’s vocals snarl indictments of corruption, urban decay and divine retribution.

Three years in the making, “Justice” is STAHLGEIST’s manifesto: no compromise, no mercy, all power to the beat. File alongside classics – then crank it louder. Recommended if you shred to: FRONT 242 (1985 era), :WUMPSCUT:, AND ONE (early) or yet NITZER EBB.

The verdict is in: guilty of total floor destruction. Press play, feel the gavel drop.
