While working on the remastering of their complete back-catalogue, Gary Dassing fell on a box full of old cassettes and dats. He then started compiling mostly unreleased material off these good old master tape treasures to offer us a nostalgic sound journey into BENESTROPHE’s unique sonic universe anno 1987 until 1997.

MAINESTHAI is the project that the Dassing brothers created in 1994 together with vocalist Michael Greene. Although embracing the same harsh complexities as the mother project, MAINESTHAI was intended to be more melodic and humanistic than MENTALLO & THE FIXER. “Out To Lunch” was the first album released under this moniker.
