Before the X-mas festivities, ALFA MATRIX is closing the year 2012 with the 3rd edition in the “4.4U” mini-compilation concept series. The new December 2012 “4.4U” bundle gathers the following bands:

German master of darkness Dominik Van Reich starts the hostilities with this brand new amGod song “Assimilated” which announces a very poignant and intricate new album!

Coming next is our new Swedish Dark Elektro revelation CYNICAL EXISTENCE and the straight and explosive “I’m Broken” that is bound to become an instant club hit!

While the new GLIS “Phoenix” album is almost complete and will surprise more than one, Shaun Frandsen let his friend Elliott Berlin trash his last single “Apocalypse Parties” while they both were on tour with COMBICHRIST…

Cherry on the cake, the one and only ALIEN VAMPIRES come and test your body resistance in a blast with this high speed industrial injection entitled “Thy Mortal Human Side” – unreleased track so far!

“4.4U” offers a bundle selection of 4 Alfa Matrix artists each presenting 1 new song. A concept where the buyer decides which price he/she wants to pay for this 4-track compilation available in multiple sound quality formats. This way, the buyer clearly indicates how much he/she wants to support the artists who reveal new songs before the release of their next album.
Enjoy… and rendez-vous next year for our next “4.4U” encounter on Alfa Matrix’s official bandpage…

This EP is only available as a download via Bandcamp (see player below).

After several years of silent confinement, Munich based amGod is back. The new conceptual album “Dreamcatcher” is released on Alfa Matrix in November 2010. amGod is the creative output of multi-talented artist Dominik van Reich, ex-frontman of German harsh dark electro act yelworC. Created on 1st. of Deceber 1993, this conceptual solo-project founds its creative inspiration from the word ‘dogma’ symbolizing the first commandment in the inverted sense “I am God”, a direct connection with egotism and narcissism – with the morbid attraction of falling in love with oneself and all the related states of envy, dissatisfaction and aggression…

The new amGod album continues where it all stopped by incorporating new sound directions and integrating influences gathered over the years. With a forward dancefloor approach mixed with heavily fused synthesizers and some manipulated guitars, amGod stands more than ever for threatening dark electro-industrial with hard dominant vocals.

The new album “Dreamcatcher” sees itself divided into 2 chapters of musical nightmares split across 2 full discs sub-titled “Creeped & Bloody” and “Harsh & Dirty” and each presented as a stand-alone release with each an expanded 20-page booklet full of eye-disturbing deviant artwork by the genius artist Phil Amelung (Armageddon-Industries.de).

– features the club hits “Pain & Desire”, “On The Hunt”, “Fight!”
– includes astounding new versions of the amGod hit “Stigmata” as well as yelworC’s classic “Soulhunter”

This carton box 3CD limited edition of this album includes bonus artwork as well as the exclusive remix album “Remixes” gathering collaborations and remix works from artists coming from various music scenes and including DJ La Sash & DJ Sandra Gold, Leaether Strip, DJ Roberto Q. Ingram, Diabolic Art, Implant, Kant Kino, etc as well as 2 remix/reinterpretations by amGod himself.

Although the first volume of this Depeche Mode cover album received a more than successful echo from both indie and mainstream worlds, this project would have definitely remained a one-off project if some of our label bands had not insistently pressed us to launch a second volume. Once we got to hear some of the first written versions, we were sold! They were too good to be left laying around. We then touched base with several other Alfa Matrix artists and in no time, a second volume was born featuring the label’s “classic renowned bands” (Leaether Strip, Ayria, Kant Kino, Komor Kommando, I:Scintilla, Technoir, Helalyn Flowers, Plastic Noise Experience, Implant, Krystal System, Acylum, etc.), as well as the work from the newly arrived label artists and others who did not make it on time for the previous edition: Armageddon Dildos, Malakwa, amGod, Razorfade, Alien Vampires, Studio-X, Unter Null, Diskonnekted, Gaytron…

Two years further down the road and here we are with a second volume of the Alfa Matrix label roster covering what has to be the best synthpop band in pop history. Since 2008, a lot has happened in the Depeche Mode camp, tours, a new album and the band celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of their first single. It’s all in the spirit of being a Depeche Mode fan, specifically reflected in the selection of the covered songs…

Compiled by and for Depeche Mode fans, “Alfa Matrix Re:covered – a tribute to Depeche Mode vol.2” will offer you once more a very own insight in what makes the Depeche Mode songs so special. Enjoy these interpretations and re-discover the beauty of all those classic Depeche Mode songs re:covered by the Alfa Matrix stable offering a diverse sound panel going from synthpop, over old-school electro to melancholic electro rock.
