A moody and poignant song dealing with insomnia, one of the biggest plagues of our Western modern world, intelligently mixing ethnic elements and electronic instruments to render that unique dark and suffocating atmosphere haunted by the emotional, hazy and mystical vocals of Kyoko Baertsoen… An addictive song that will definitely carry you away, but not sure it will help you fight insomnia or haunt your nights even more…

Next to more dancefloor oriented remixes of the title song thanks to a synthwave radio pop rework by SD-KRTR and hypnotizing trance versions by Mister Tom Bro, PSY’AVIAH again takes us by surprise with an original and exclusive B-side song inspired by FAITHLESS’ dance mega-hit “Insomnia” and fully transformed into a slowed down melancholic trip-pop track offering an all new sonic experience while paying homage to one of the most influential songs in electronic music history. Guest female singer Charlotte C. subtly appropriates the song and makes it her own, adding a fitting chorus to the whole while making the more rap section of the original more “parlando”…

A new PSY’AVIAH video clip was also shot for this lush “Train Of Thought” song featuring actress & dancer Zara García (instagram.com/zarafragoso_), telling the story of “struggling with our sleep” in a beautiful way…

Just like on the previous “Future Past” EP, Psy’Aviah here further ventures on an electro pop / triphop sound and collaborates with a diversified bunch of creative artists each offering a totally different approach of the title song making it compatible for every type of club scenes and each time making Kyoko’s unique emotional voice beautifully shine through the music…

This way, DIZKODUDE delivers club friendly disco house while STEREO FOR TWO crafted a pure house version. Ethereal dubstep rhythms come from SYNTHETIC EPIPHANY and hard drum and bass from the SINISTER SOULS duo. Last but not least, JUNKSISTA delivers a fine electro remix with rhythmic guitars. There’s something for everyone to find in “Our Common Future”…
